Summary
The Retention Associate will lead all B2C email marketing analysis and strategy and test and explore new digital channels to better retain and engage Thumbtack's millions of customers.
Responsibilities
* Quickly become a subject matter expert for customer data, email development and programs, marketing tracking and measurement. * Design tests for and iterate on email marketing campaigns in our ESP, Responsys (working closely with our central Email Ops team) * Manage the customer list and segmentation approach * Be the voice of the customer for customer email, working with copywriting, photography, brand, and design teams to ensure consistent, on-brand email approach

**About You** * You’re passionate about marketing that delivers large and measurable results for the business * You combine a passion for understanding and modeling complex datasets with an ability to tell inspiring stories that will guide our customer through their Thumbtack journey * You know how to make big things come to life - you can guide the efforts of cross-functional partners and external contractors to build a large and complex program * You empathize with Thumbtack’s customers and are excited to build programs that add value to their lives **Requirements** * 2+ years experience in B2C marketing, growth, analytics, consulting, or finance * Proven experience in A/B and multivariate test design, execution and analysis * Strong analytical skillset, including extensive hands on experience in excel and basic to intermediate SQL knowledge * Ability to work cross functionally with Marketing, Product and Ops teams * Excellent verbal and written communication skills **Bonus Points** * Experience building or managing a B2C email program at scale * Experience in lifecycle marketing, engagement marketing, or CRM * Experience at a high growth tech company
