Email Marketing Manager

YourMechanic was founded in 2012 with the goal to make car repair and maintenance affordable, convenient, and transparent. We started YourMechanic because we believed that the auto repair industry was broken.

The Email Marketing Manager will live and breathe the YourMechanic email program. They will be responsible for the day-to-day, hands-on execution of product and email marketing campaigns in support of YourMechanic’s communication objectives to customers and mechanics. We're a scrappy start-up, so if you like being involved in literally every single step of creating a successful campaign, then this job is for you!

* End-to-end management of customer and mechanic email campaigns through our Email Service Provider (ESP), including content, design/production, testing, setup, and deployment * Constantly test and audit our existing programs and come up with ideas for new automated programs to help improve customer conversion rates * Regularly analyze results of programs, campaigns and A/B tests, and make recommendations for program improvements * Proofread email copy for clarity and grammar * Troubleshoot technical issues related to HTML templates, personalization, dynamic content, and segmentation * Stay current with email marketing best practices for content, design and strategy

* 3-5 years of hands-on experience managing e-commerce B2C email programs. * Experience using a top-tier Email Service Provider; SendGrid, ExactTarget, Responsys, or MailChimp experience preferred. * Intermediate proficiency with HTML. * Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel. * Good understanding of database concepts and segmentation. * Eager to work in an extremely fast-paced environment. * Ability to work independently with minimal direction. * Attention to detail is imperative. * A cheerful, roll-up-your-sleeves, get-it-done attitude
