Summary
You’ll help drive professional acquisition for Thumbtack through digital marketing campaigns. This role is an opportunity to work on both strategic, long-term plans as well as own the management of the tactical, day-to-day elements of our digital marketing efforts. Thumbtack is a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment, and you can expect to work with team members across our organization to create strong digital programs that directly impact our business. You’ll synthesize campaign data from marketing efforts to drive channel optimizations as well as analyze impact of these efforts to the overall marketplace.
Responsibilities
* Work closely with our Pro Acquisition Manager to manage Thumbtack’s digital acquisition marketing efforts * Develop, execute, and measure large scale digital marketing campaigns across SEM and Facebook * Monitor and analyze campaign performance to drive continuous improvements in KPIs * Partner with digital marketing peers and agencies to deliver campaigns meeting company business objectives * Constantly dive into campaign performance metrics to maximize yield and surface new learnings for digital acquisition and the company in general * Leading testing and optimization efforts around ad creatives and landing pages to maximize yield * Staying current on digital best practices and the competitive landscape
Ideal Candidate
**Must-Have Qualifications** * 3-5 years experience in online marketing at a digital advertising agency or tech company. Minimum 2-3 years operational SEM role required * Demonstrable mastery of marketing platforms including Google Adwords,Facebook, Google Analytics, Pinterest, * Highly attentive to detail, curious, data-driven, with strong problem-solving skills * Advanced analytical skills, including experience in spreadsheets, SQL, analytics, dashboard creation and bid management tools * Ability to work cross functionally with Marketing, Product and Design teams * Excellent verbal and written communication skills **Nice-To-Have Qualifications** * Knowledge & experience with ad management platforms, such as Nanigans, Kenshoo or others * Experience with landing page optimization and A/B testing projects and tools * Experience with API integrations * A keen understanding of small business owners and the challenges they face in growing their businesses.
