Responsibilities
Manages all the planning and execution of the Non-Traditional Development Strategy within an assigned area of North America. Specific responsibilities include the procurement of new restaurant locations, renewals of existing restaurant locations, procurement of new "institutional" non-traditional franchisees, appropriate placement of our existing traditional franchisees with non-traditional opportunities, management of relationships with non-traditional venue opportunities (airports, colleges, military, toll roads, etc.), and management of relationships with our franchise community. Develops and executes the annual AOP for Non-Traditional Development within assigned area. Manages the end-of-period recording and reporting of non- traditional real estate projects, e.g., Real Estate Letters (RELs) and Site Acceptance Requests (SARs), in our project management systems to facilitate monthly development progress meetings. Specific Responsibilities Include - Facilitate non-traditional development by developing and managing relationships with industry leaders, trade affiliations, vendors, and governing bodies. - Develop and manage relationships with franchisees of non-traditional restaurants and assist Franchise Development with recruitment of non-traditional franchisees. - Coordinate and assist in the preparation and presentation of all Requests for Proposals (RFP's). - Develop and manage the AOP for non-traditional business segments, e.g., airports, military installations, colleges and universities, hospitals, travel plazas within assigned area. Own the timeline for completion. - Review and Approve all Real Estate Letters (RELs) and Site Acceptance Requests (SARs) for non-traditional development within assigned area.
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor's Degree in a business or related field. - Proven project management skills. - Minimum 5 years of experience in a corporate real estate/franchise development environment. - Computer skills including Microsoft Office (PowerPoint), GIS, Oracle and other database systems. - Excellent communication skills (oral, written and presentation)
