Seeking a talented and dedicated Construction Project Manager!
Continental Properties Company, Inc. is looking for the absolute best and brightest to join our team of dedicated professionals as a Project Manager at our home office in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin.
This position plays a critical role in Continental’s ability to successfully develop apartment communities. The individual selected for this role will be part of a defined real estate development team within the company and will be responsible for a wide range of activities from pre-construction through project completion.
We are considering candidate outside of Wisconsin, and relocation assistance will be provided.
What you will do:
- Responsible for the daily management, supervision, coordination and successful completion of multifamily construction projects to meet time and cost objectives.
- Develop and train subordinate construction personnel, including but not limited to Project Engineers and Associate Project Managers.
- Interview and recommend civil engineers, architects, site contractors, and general contractors.
- Work with variety of internal and external sources and clients to ensure that projects are completed according to plans.
- Provide overall support to the construction and development efforts, including travel to various project site locations.
- Bachelor Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or Architecture or equivalent experience required.
- Previous experience in multifamily construction project management is preferred, but not necessary. Ideal candidates will have five to ten years’ experience as a Construction Project Manager, General Contractor experience valued.
- An unmatched willingness to provide leadership and management to others.
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated skill in the following: estimating, scheduling, budgeting/cost control, field supervision, financial reporting, client relationships, interpersonal skills, computer skills, safety/insurance, written and oral communication.
