Summary
Seeking an experienced Office Administrator to join our client for a very unique opportunity. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, analytical, proactive in nature, and enjoy working independently on a variety of projects. Bookkeeping experience and/or having worked as an Office Administrator or Administrative Assistant where being responsible for accounting related tasks as a key responsibility is preferred. Our client is conveniently located on the west side of Madison and offers a business casual environment with flexible hours. Responsibilities
* Create, issue, and track all invoices to customers * Ensure customer order/inventory is verified, processed and mailed out * Ensure that receivables are collected promptly * Manage bank deposits * Assist with preparing financial reports * Maintain databases and files * Answer incoming phone calls * Track office supply inventory * Maintain chart of accounts * Provide information by answering questions and requests from customers * Ensure operation of office equipment; calling for repairs * There is no supervision of others
Ideal Candidate
* Experience working as a Bookkeeper or related accounting position such as dealing with invoices is ideal * Experience working in an office role where managing products / inventory is beneficial * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Highly organized and flexible * Must be detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy * Must be self-directed and able to complete projects with limited supervision * Comfortable working in MS Office; Excel and Word * Associate degree in Accounting or Administrative Assistant or similar degree is nice, but not mandatory * Must pass background check
