Summary
Maintain cleanliness and stock amenities in our hotel rooms and locker room.
Responsibilities
* Clean, sanitize, disinfect, dust, polish and vacuum to make sure guest rooms, fixtures, furniture, and bathrooms meet hotel standards of cleanliness. May be assigned to clean up to 18 rooms. * Empty wastebaskets, and transport other recycling and waste to appropriate disposal areas. * Change linens and make beds. * Restock all guest room supplies, such as towels, soap and shampoo. * Keep linen closet organized. * Push a wheeled cart fully stocked with linens, and hotel room supplies. * Report to MOD any defects found in hotel room that need to be repaired in a timely basis. * Ensure the security of the hotel room master key and observe precautions required to protect hotel and guest property. * Report damage, theft and any found articles to the MOD. * Log and track which rooms have been cleaned and report to the MOD when room is ready to be inspected. * Clean hallways, lounges, restrooms, showers, sinks and other areas in the ladies locker room. * Empty towel baskets and refresh stock with new towels in ladies locker room, brought up from the laundry room. * Greet guests with a friendly smile. * Comply with all safety standards.
Ideal Candidate
* Previous experience in working in a hotel and/or housekeeping/janitorial environment desired. * Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds. * Ability to push and pull 60+ lbs. * Basic English communication skills required. * Basic verbal communication with members and coworkers. * Ability to work safely including wearing appropriate PPE. * Ability to work independently with little supervision. * Reliable attendance and team oriented. * Ability to log work, stay organized and follow diagrams on how amenities are to be placed on countertop.

Reports to Housekeeping Director and Manager
