Responsibilities
* Responsible for filling various containers including bottles, drums, totes, and isotainers. * Must be certified to drive a forklift. Will load finished product into cargo trucks and containers. * Safely perform required tasks efficiently by following standard operating and job safety analysis procedures * Perform multiple operational tasks in fast paced environment * Ability to pay close attention to detail * Accurately complete necessary paperwork, computer and SAP transactions * Flexibility to work overtime as required * Efficiently perform tasks while always keeping safety and quality first * Monitor production process through distributive control system and operating rounds * Operate and control motors, pumps, and valves as required by the process * Operate support utilities such as cooling tower, boiler, air compressor, wastewater system, etc. * Respond to alarms, and/or problems according to Standard Operating Procedures * Maintain daily shift notes and patrol sheets * Load and unload materials from a variety of vessels * Actively participate in quality, safety and production teams * Perform and maintain general housekeeping and other duties including light maintenance * Maintain a clean work environment * Participate in the HOS Continuous Improvement Process * Will be required to train other employees in the operations in which they are certified * Will be required to be a member of the Emergency Response Team * Ability to lift approximately 30 lbs.
Ideal Candidate
**Basic Requirements:** * High school diploma or equivalent * Minimum 2 years of experience of working in an industrial environment **Additional Qualifications:** * Manufacturing experience and/or Chemical Manufacturing experience preferred * Ability to work with minimal supervision and self-starter * Must have a history of meeting challenging objectives * Able to work as a team and individually * Ability to wear full PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) including respirator * Ability to work all shifts to support a 24/7 operation * Ability to communicate with all members of the site * Ability to use PC based software applications
