Project engineering including process and manufacturing, equipment improvements and implementation of projects and capital equipment adjustments having a significant impact on the business. Demonstrates strong technical and engineering skills. Team member for capital and process improvement projects, Influencing and advising teams on technical items.
- Participates in department and interdepartmental planning and management teams and works cross-functionally to improve processes within the organization.
- Analyzes data to determine feasibility of product proposal.
- Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project.
- Responsible for managing assigned project assignments to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.
- Confers with manufacturing and other engineers to clarify and resolve problems; prepares design modifications, as appropriate.
- Prepares status reports and modifies schedules or plans as required.
- Evaluates engineering test results for possible application to development of systems or other uses.
- Acts as a liaison with other departments, divisions, and organizations.
- Coordinates project activities with activities of government regulatory or other governmental agencies.
- Identifies and obtains team capabilities needed to accomplish project objectives.
- Balances planning efforts with day to day demands.
- Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory considerations. If accountable for the work of others, responsible for ensuring their understanding and compliance.
- Must maintain satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness.

Supervisory Responsibilities
- Leads or directs others on a project basis.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering Preferred plus 5 years of experience in Engineering of manufacturing processes.
- Experience managing projects.
Preferred Qualifications - But not all required
- Bachelors degree in Engineering plus 5-7 years experience in Project Engineering.
- Experience responding to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
- Experience effectively presenting information to top management.
