Summary
Tennant is hiring Inside Sales professionals to generate additional sales in the industrial and commercial markets. This individual is expected to network and prospect for new opportunities, and work with field partners and distributors in establishing and acquiring new business. This prospecting and territory-based position calls for a high level of consultative and solution based selling. You will work on a team, engaging prospects over the phone.
Responsibilities
- Work with outside sales representative and distributor partners to develop quality standard for leads generated - Demonstrate a proficient level of procedural and technical product knowledge to identify products that meet customer needs - Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions - Build and progress a sales pipeline - Maintain contact information of prospects and document activity in the sales process in CRM - Work to attain sales quota, sales quality and sales productivity metrics
Ideal Candidate
**Basic Qualifications:** - Minimum Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution is required - Minimum three years combined inside and/or outside sales experience is preferred **Preferred Qualifications:** - CRM experience is preferred - Three years inside sales experience is preferred - Excellent telephone and written communication, including presentation skills - Experience leveraging Social Sales tools / processes (Linked In, Webinars, etc…) - Inside sales and/or field sales experience highly desirable - Ability to work in a high volume rapidly changing environment - Ability to work in a team environment and willing to collaborate and compromise, including team leadership - Strong active listening skills - PC literate, including Microsoft Office products and CRM system - Strong organizational skills with the ability to stay focused on tasks - Good interpersonal skills - Track record of successful job performance
