Summary
As a Technical Support intern, you’ll work closely with Symphony’s Technical Support Engineers. This is a frontline role at Symphony and engineers work closely with customers troubleshooting software issues and helping to bring them to a quick resolution. In addition, Technical Support Engineers work closely with both the Solutions Engineering and Community Specialist teams to ensure the successful on-boarding of Symphony users with a persistent focus on customer satisfaction. We expect our engineers to have strong Customer Services skills and a technical background.
Responsibilities
* To be the first point of contact in dealing with support queries via named contacts at customer sites * Prioritise, investigate, diagnose and resolve issues relating to Symphony services * Liaise with Symphony Development Operations and Product teams on issues that cannot be readily resolved at first contact * Ensure that tickets are followed up, kept up to date and properly closed to ensure adherence with SLAs * Assist the Solutions Engineers with implementations of Symphony Services by acting as a conduit to Development Operations * Assist in product testing and research
Ideal Candidate
**Required Qualifications:** * Enrollment in bachelor’s degree program with a strong GPA * Experience using Excel, PowerPoint, and other tools * Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously * Ability to prioritize work and manage time effectively * Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills * Immaculate written and verbal communication * Ability to thrive in a very fast-paced environment * Must be able to physically work in our New York City or London offices * Must be authorized to work in the relevant country (US or UK) without Visa or work permit sponsorship **Nice-To-Have:** * Previous intern experience in technology, support/customer services, call centres, or related spaces * Previous startup experience * Knowledge of the Finance industry and Fintech ecosystem is highly preferred
