Summary
Support the assigned product line by working with the Product Manager, and established project teams to achieve the established financial and new product objectives. Work on assigned projects in the product/market area and responsible for supporting the product line on a daily basis. Work closely with peer managers in all disciplines within the company. Work on cross-functional product teams in support of expediting new product development and business process improvement efforts.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of the Annual Marketing Plan. - Regularly review customer-pricing activities to assure compliance with current guidelines and relevance to current market competition, for the purpose of maximizing gross profit. - Assist in evaluating current distributor initiatives to assure maximum utilization of distribution channel strategies. - Work with the Regional Sales Managers to assure development of promotional plans that will close new business and customer retention strategies to strengthen the current business base. - Assist in the development of a Sales Training Continuum designed to maximize product knowledge, sales skills and competitive product positioning. - Establish a superior expectation of organizational skills, market strategies, tactical planning and administrative responsibilities of the marketing organization to assure a high level of Customer satisfaction. - Provide management with all required information including required monthly reports. - Other duties as assigned.
