Summary
Software AG is looking for ambitious, confident, and tenacious individuals for our rapidly growing North American Sales Development Team. As a first point of contact with prospects, our Sales Development Representatives create demand for our expansive portfolio of industry leading solutions and play a key role in our business success strategy. Qualifying conversations to understand the buyer's journey of challenges and priorities, and help to determine the appropriate next steps in the sales/evaluation process, our SDRs are a key component of the pipeline and revenue growth for Software AG.
Responsibilities
A SDR supports local sales team member with Qualified Opportunities - and will need to build strong professional relationships throughout the Sales & Marketing organizations. * Follow up on Marketing Qualified Leads (i.e. Marketing Events, Webinars, Website Downloads) * Execute established daily cadence of prospecting and conversations to qualify leads and create new Sales Qualified Opportunities * Collaborate with sales team in defined territories to penetrate targeted accounts with an innovative and strategic approach.
Ideal Candidate
**Academic Degree: Bachelors** * Maintain daily activities in SalesForce.com by tracking all calls, emails, and interactions with prospects and customers * Work closely with Marketing to both develop and leverage strategic campaigns to drive pipeline revenue, and provide feedback channel for greater traction of message. **Professional Experience in year(s)**: 1 **Desired Skills & Experience:** * A burning desire for success and growth in a world class organization * Coachable with a willingness to learn, with a commitment to excellence * Superior communication, relationship building and collaborative capabilities * Sales DNA * Exceptional verbal and written communication skills * Some Sales experience is a plus * Experience with SalesForce.com is a huge plus
