Apttus is seeking Sales development representative to identify and qualify new customers. The successful candidate will work with a team of seasoned marketing and sales professionals to generate pipeline through outbound prospecting and inbound, marketing lead follow-up.
* Lead generation through target account selling, outbound cold calling, and calling on Marketing campaign respondents and inbound leads
* Meet monthly and quarterly KPIs and leads objectives
* Demonstrate clear understanding of sales processes and product and service value propositions
* Work with field sales force to implement sales strategies
* Consistent track record for meeting and exceeding lead generation and sales objectives
* Make at least 50 dials/50 Persona-Based emails per day into named and inbound accounts.
* Knowledge of and relationship with salesforce.com sales organization and customers is a plus
* 1+ year of calling experience at a software company
* Experience calling into Fortune 1000 accounts
* Proven Track Record with New Account development
* Highly motivated professional with excellent inter-personal skills
* High level of energy, drive, enthusiasm, initiative, commitment and professionalism
* Self-starter with solid organizational and planning skills
* A 4-year degree is required
