Financial Analyst

Demonstrated comprehension of AUP process with respect to commercial properties. Participates in most aspects of transaction with direct supervision. Some travel required as needed for site visits to property and fieldwork for market study and comparable property analysis. Responsibilities occasionally may require an adjusted work schedule, working more than a traditional 8 hour day, and working evening/weekend hours in order to meet deadlines.

* Comprehensive understanding of the basic AUP process * Applicant must be able to recognize the “next step” in the process * Ability to research, analyze and write all parts of the basic AUP process * Analyzes and interprets basic financial reports, basic financial categories and historical trending * Responsible for delivering high quality work requiring limited to no revisions * Ability to work independently on projects and also collaborate ‘face to face’ as a team player * Other duties as assigned * Comprehensive understanding of the basic AUP process * Applicant must be able to recognize the “next step” in the process * Ability to research, analyze and write all parts of the basic AUP process * Requires the demonstration of analytical skills and an intermediate understanding of real estate knowledge and terminology * Basic knowledge of leases and the ability to create and analyze rent rolls * Performs supervised site visits with increased understanding of site visit requirements and fieldwork * Analyzes and interprets basic financial reports, basic financial categories and historical trending * Ability to handle tenant level information including financial trends and credit ratings or stock market capitalization * Basic understanding of most borrower or sponsor level information such as financial statements, tax returns, most asset types and leases * Required to identify and understand the client’s scope of work in regards to third party reports * Ability to understand the three basic valuation methods for appraisals and appraisers presentation of property taxes * Responsible for delivering high quality work requiring limited to no revisions * Ability to work independently on projects and also collaborate ‘face to face’ as a team player * Other duties as assigneda

**Work Experience:** * 1 - 2 years in real estate related or financial services industry, such as appraisal, brokerage, or banking primarily focused on commercial properties **Essential Computer Skills Requirements:** * MS Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, Power Point and Word. * Working knowledge of Argus **Required Education from an accredited institution:** * Bachelor’s degree; * MBA a plus. **Preferred Field of Study:** * Accounting, Finance
