Summary
Dell Services is looking for an experienced Cloud Services Field Marketing Manager responsible for target account engagement within the Banking, Financial Services, Securities and Insurance (BFSI) industries. This individual will support new deal origination and IT Outsourcing (ITO) conversions of Dell’s Public and Private Cloud Infrastructure as a Service and Virtual Workspace lines of business. As a Cloud Services Field Marketing Manager you will also serve as a Cloud Services evangelist, visiting customers to develop initial interest in Dell Cloud Services and facilitate routing to the appropriate Cloud Sales Specialist or Technical Sales Specialist organization to support opportunities. Cloud Services evangelist activities also include Sourcing Advisor engagement by supporting briefings in the Dell Enterprise Briefing Centers (EBC) in in Round Rock, TX and Plano, TX and working closely with the Dell Analyst & Influencer Relations team in order to increase sales growth and expand market share.
Responsibilities
**Principal Accountabilities:** - Grow the Cloud Services portfolio business through targeted Dell account pursuits within the BFSI sectors - Engage closely and build strong relationships with both internal and customer stakeholders - Meet and build relationships with CxOs with new and existing Dell Cloud Services accounts to position our cloud capabilities - Successfully support the sales cycle and the Sales Executives, Client Executives and Consultants architecting Dell Cloud solutions during the presales phase of a deal - Work closely with Cloud Services Product Managers, Cloud Services Product Marketers, Cloud Sales Specialists and Dell Cloud Partners to ensure availability of suitable marketing collateral and a compelling portfolio - Provide external awareness of Dell Cloud Services through EBC participation, on-site customer workshops and various marketing events - Manage and track leads and ROI resulting from all campaigns and programs - Provide exceptional sales support through strong communication skills with experience presenting at an executive level - Evaluate and fine-tune a succinct campaign process on an on-going basis **Knowledge:** - Organizational expert within defined subject areas: Private and Public Cloud, Infrastructure as a Service, End User Cloud Computing - Integrates deep subject matter expertise with: - Industry experience - In-depth knowledge of professional standards and trends within area of expertise - Business goals and strategy - Understands impact of emerging business trends and their implications for Dell and its customers Problem Solving - Develops solutions to marketing problems or customer engagements through in-depth analysis, coordination and negotiation with key decision makers - Uses experience, innovation and judgment to make decisions that may be based on partial information - Considers Dell-wide implications of decisions and recommendations - Adapts and integrates own experience with Dell-wide strategy - Analyzes and forecasts business and market trends - Develops innovative solutions to problems without precedent - Invents new processes to achieve strategic business objectives - Makes strategic decisions with long-term consequences, and tends to relate to business strategy, financial performance and effective resource utilization **Guidance** - Guided by business plans and strategy - Executes goals and strategy within area of responsibility - Contributes to strategic decisions affecting the discipline **Relationships** - Contributes to business results through quality of results, advice and decisions - Develops standards around which others will operate - Contributes to Dell thought leadership - Influences a broad spectrum of stakeholders toward achieving business goals - Builds consensus - Ensures understanding of technical matters by non-technical, executive decision makers - Advises and councils key leadership on the latest principles, practices, and/or technologies and their practical application
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or communications - 10+ years of experience in product marketing or equivalent combination of education and work experience - Proven track record of creating and managing successful marketing campaigns, starting from scratch - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, working with internal and external partners - Self-starting Strong communication and presentation skills - Good working knowledge of cloud technology landscape - Technology sales experience a plus - Undergraduate degree and 8-10 years relevant experience or Graduate degree and 6-8 years relevant experience
