Summary
The main purpose of this position is to ensure seamless processing of ACAT-in transfers for Advisor Services customers. This position will be responsible for owning the entire life cycle of account transfers.
Responsibilities
* Review and process Advisor Services account transfer forms, including ACAT and DRS; research and resolve forms that are not in good order. * Validate and track account transfers and process transfer fee reimbursement requests. * Track and resolve internal returned/rejected transfer requests. * Track and resolve external (contra firm) rejected transfer requests. * Monitor and validate that the Retail ACAT department has initiated transfer requests. * Maintain daily and monthly ACAT & DRS metrics spreadsheet. * Keep Advisor Services ACAT training materials up–to-date with new/revised rules and procedures. * Assist in training interns and new associates on job responsibilities. * Perform other duties as assigned.

**Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Required:** * Strong time management and organizational skills. * Ability to prioritize and organize a diversified workload and handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment. * Strong attention to detail. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Basic ability to evaluate unique situations and implement appropriate solutions. * Basic ability to use critical thinking skills to identify operational issues and collaborate with other departments to resolve issues. * Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality. * Ability to work well independently and as part of a team environment. * Basic level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. * Foster company success through a professional appearance, being courteous to customers and all Scottrade associates and by having a positive attitude. **Minimum Education & Experience:** * Associate’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. * 1+ years customer service, financial service or equivalent experience required. * Prior brokerage, insurance or investment advisor operations experience preferred.
