M Financial was established with a new distribution network of entrepreneurial Member Firms. Working together with select carriers, we created better products for affluent clients and distributed them through this exclusive network of Member Firms.
Responsibilities
* In this role, you will respond to Member Firms’ and/or Member Firm client inquiries regarding investment activity and transaction processing with M Wealth, including identifying, analyzing and resolving account issues as they arise in an appropriate and timely manner. * You will also provide financial services via custodial and brokerage platforms, including the M Holdings Securities’ Account Services department. This will include buy/sell authorizations, deposits, and withdrawals, issuing documents, completing account set-up and settlements, and coordinating requirements with back office and support, assisting in Member Firm client transitions to M Wealth. * A key part of your role will be to protect company and client interests by verifying processing compliance with internal and external guidelines, complying with Federal, state and foreign regulations, and keeping information confidential. You will work with the Chief Compliance Officer in constant audit vigilance and maintain books and records of operations. * Another area of focus will be to maintain proficiency with M Wealth’s proprietary Wealth Management software systems and master systems of chosen custodians in terms of trading, operations and client transitions.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance or related field or other equivalent * Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in the financial services industry, preferably in brokerage operations. * NASD Series 65 license or willingness to obtain within 90 days * Demonstrated skill and ability to establish and administer complex operational processes and procedures * Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel. * A working knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Excellent organizational ability with ability to prioritize work on multiple projects and ability to pay attention to detail * Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with fellow M team members, Member Firms, vendors and other service providers * Knowledge of custodial and brokerage platforms * Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion
