Summary
Sage is currently seeking and enthusiastic and experienced Director of Operations to be based in Irvine and provide operational oversight and strategic direction for our multifamily portfolio. We are looking to employ long-term employees with strong ETHICS & INTEGRITY, as well as company loyalty and a great attitude.
Responsibilities
* Oversee the ever growing Multi-Family Portfolio currently consisting of 19 communities * Oversee and direct all Regional Managers, ensure training and enforcement of Standard Operating Procedures * Consistently review property performance, make recommendations to the Vice President for improvements and conduct site visits quarterly * Review and monitor delinquencies at all communities and ensure that managers are following proper legal procedures * Review and approve all controllable expenses and determine possible solutions * Assist with acquisitions and dispositions to ensure proper transition into the portfolio * Interaction with vendors and lenders * Review A/P check runs
Ideal Candidate
* **Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a Director capacity or as a Senior Regional Manager for a multi-family real estate portfolio required** * Proven track record in successfully directing a minimum of 15 properties with at least 3,000 units * Previous experience in successfully leading and mentoring multiple Regional Managers and/or Area Managers * Ability to properly oversee large projects and communicate accordingly to supervisors and owners * Must be willing and able to travel approximately 25% of the time * Familiarity with Housing laws in CA, OR, PA, TX & WA a plus * Ability to identify potential problems and create resolutions quickly * Must be organized, with ability to multi-task and prioritize * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Individuals must possess an attitude of self-motivation * Strong aptitude in MS Office products with intermediate to advanced Excel skills * Working knowledge of Yardi property management software highly preferred * Bachelor degree desired, but not required * Candidates must pass a background and credit check, along with a drug test
