Responsibilities
* Develop the brand and position of Rubicon as a global Waste Services leader * Formulate an aggressive new business and account development strategy for the region annually, generating the foundational revenue for the future of Rubicon * Ownership of the annual sales budget for the Americas region * Personally develop and manage the Americas Sales / Business development team * Develop direct client relationships where required in the key markets * Ensure regional sales team’s activity and monthly revenue targets are met * Build networking and marketing alliances to achieve the regions sales goals * Formulate country/market specific marketing programs to support the budget goals of the region * Develop effective sales strategies with other key regional/country sales managers/directors * Comply with and engineer reporting solutions in Salesforce to support the business reporting requirements (sales metrics) for the Executive Leadership and BoD
Ideal Candidate
**Required Experience/Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree; Masters preferred * Proven record of building and scaling a sales organization for a well-recognized national brand * Proven experience with meeting or exceeding sales targets * Must be able to meet deadlines and work well under pressure * Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather and interpret internal and external customer requirement * Excellent written, verbal, communication and analytical skills * Proven ability to develop and manage sales team with a high performance culture * Strong presentation skills with proven track record of developing prospects and securing new clients * A thorough understanding of sales techniques * Excellent networking and influencing skills * Strong analysis and decision making skills * Energy, drive, passion and experience to build a world-class sales and operations organization * Influences others to action with both feverishness and a replicable style * Demonstrated levels of dedication, prioritization, and ownership required to succeed at start-up speed **Other Experience:** Previous experience in the waste industry or logistics industry is a plus
