Responsibilities
* Industry leader, Related Management, has a great opportunity for highly motivated and dedicated Regional Program Administrator for our Affordable Housing Group in states of New York, Connecticut and Massachusetts. * This position floats between all properties in Region 6 helping sites to prepare for upcoming agency or company inspections. Reviews files for accuracy, and assists with any and all aspects of office operations. Position will be involved in the set up and execution of LIHTC implementation at Sec 8 properties and or new acquisitions. * The Program Administrator under the direction of the Regional Manager is responsible for ensuring the comprehensive compliance and regulatory program requirements of our affordable housing developments with timeliness, consistency and commitment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytic and organizational skills, superb communication and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to the success of each program. This position works closely with each apartment complex ensuring the developments meet all agency requirements, federal/state/city affordable program requirements, company policies and procedures, and all applicable Fair Housing and Human Rights statutes. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Participation in all marketing and leasing functions related to all affordable housing programs and applications, remarketing assessments. * Facilitates the renewal and recertification process for all program participants. * Preparation of all RMC-required and agency-required reports; * Ensures accuracy of recorded information about each affordable housing program. * Initiates new ideas, methods, systems related to affordable housing processing.
Ideal Candidate
* Strong organizational/administrative skills with the ability to prioritize; * Proficient in Microsoft Office; * In-service training of policies, procedures and principles required; * Ability to interpret information consistently and completely; * Must be willing and able to travel regularly; * Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred; * Experience with HUD and/or LIHTC programs a plus
