Redfin real estate agents work with the company's team of engineers to create tools that make the buying and selling process easier.
This position provides an entry point into the HR profession and it's a great opportunity to learn the complexities and critical importance of servicing employees on sensitive and confidential issues such as benefits, employment status and much more. The coordinator will serve as a point of contact for employee questions and therefore must have superior customer service skills, produce accurate work and demonstrate empathy and service excellence in his/her work.
- Complete employee data entries in Workday for new hires, job changes, organization restructures, compensation updates, personal information changes, and Redfin departure processing
- Track, prioritize, and solve employee support tickets in the HR ticketing system by providing responses to questions or route to the appropriate group for resolution
- Process unemployment claims and review background check reports and verify I-9 forms as part of the onboarding process
- Generate employee letters and memos for promotions and transfers
- Other duties as needed
- 1-2 years of experience in a HR or administrative role
- Excellent writing skills, including ability to communicate to all levels clearly and concisely through multiple communication vehicles
- Experience working in Zendesk (or a ticketing system) and Workday a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field is preferred
