Summary
QinetiQ North America (QNA) is renowned for their survivability, unmanned systems, maritime and transportation programs. The Land Systems division is a world leader in a wide range of defense and security products. QNA is growing its sales and support team and is currently seeking a Sales and Support Representative for both Domestic and International markets. This position is responsible for reaching sales objectives for these regions and within strategic accounts.
Responsibilities
* Identify and pursue sales opportunities in the Survivability and Robotic market place. Target, pursue, quote and close opportunities. Develop strong long-term customer relationships with current and prospective customers. Coordinate QinetiQ activity within the customer organization including training, implementation and service and support * Performs complex assignments with minimal supervision, assisting field engineers and engineering technicians in the evaluation by performing both standard and non-standard procedures requiring a high level of skill with shop tools. The sales and support representative is responsible for the timely completion of short and long-term assignments under minimal supervision, including the evaluation diagnosing and repair of QinetiQ North America’s family of robots. * Travel required, possibly for extended periods to support sales and or field efforts related to client service or ongoing development efforts. This travel could be to locations outside the US. On these trips, the representatives will have customer contact and may represent QinetiQ North America in meetings, demonstrations, or teaching classes. * Will be responsible for scheduling of routine daily operations as well as packing, shipping, receiving and storage of project equipment and supplies. The Sales and Support Representative is responsible for housekeeping within his work area and for compliance with corporate safety procedures. The sales and support representative may be assigned routine tasks such as maintaining expendable inventories within a budget, which includes ordering and documentation. * Will execute the analysis, repair, and return of customer robotic systems with minimal delay to the customer while keeping supervisors aware of cost and schedule. These systems require that the Sales and Support Representative be proficient in the assembly, disassembly, and repair of the following Products: Q-NET RPG protection systems, Air Armor products, TALON Gen IV, Dragon Runner -20/10, MAARS, Bobcat Integration Kit and other variants that are developed over time. These activities include the initiation or completion of Return Material Authorization (RMA) documentation, the preparation and maintenance of equipment travelers, the updating of any required status boards within the RMA Area, and the proper filing of completed repair documentation using SALESFORCE.com in particular QROBOTFORCE. The Sales and Support Representative is responsible for accountability and oversight of all customer materials from the moment these materials arrive at QinetiQ North America repair facility until they are properly returned to their customers. * Will oversee, maintain, and safeguard the designated QinetiQ North America Demonstration Robots, Q-Net, Armor products and assist in packaging and shipping these robots as required. * Will participate in planning and executing customer technical and operator training at remote locations as well as at QinetiQ North America Waltham, Massachusetts Facility. These activities include, at the least, the preparation and distribution of course literature, the preparation and presentation of professional, rehearsed classes, and the preparation, use, and cleanup of training areas.
Ideal Candidate
* 5-7+ years’ experience * Knowledge of survivability products and Unmanned Systems * Sales experience * Bachelor’s degree or Prior Military experience
