Summary
A strategic role within the North American Procurement team, the Buyer will support Global Procurement by tracking/maintaining/ordering supplies and services, participating in and planning RFP opportunities, while identifying spend management goals and objectives to support all divisions at PVH Corp; including Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, and Van Heusen.
Responsibilities
Roles and responsibilities include, but not limited to negotiations, RFP/PO management, project management, purchase order approval work flow efficiencies, manage supply expenses, analyze metrics, track commodity trends, vendor compliance/maintenance, and ability to partner and interact with internal stakeholders. Partner with stakeholders of assigned division(s) (All North American operated locations), as well as Corporate partners (when necessary) to understand requisition requirements, create sourcing strategy, execute, and manage projects Maintain and publish monthly and/or quarterly updates for ordering cycles and supplies for all divisions Provide operational support (budget review and procurement process guidance) to internal stakeholders. * Assist with deployment of Ariba implementation plan for North America * ARIBA – ability to utilize the Ariba system including Sourcing, P2P, and Spend Visibility modules. * Analyze reports through the Ariba system for PO’s , RFP’s, and Spend * Assist/Support in the development of RFP specifications, standards, and strategy. * Assist/Support in the management of Corporate and Divisional Procurement programs/projects * Participate in quarterly divisional meetings with internal stakeholders to discuss current projects, to anticipate/identify sourcing opportunities, and maintain regular communication channels * Balance tactical executions with company strategic and financial objectives in order to drive cost reduction * Execute and manage requisitions / PO’s for assigned division(s) as requested * Actively participate in vendor evaluations * Proactively maintain key supplies in inventory with assigned vendors * Manage and stay current on changes that may affect the supply/demand of core supplies and communicate this information to internal stakeholders * Initiate and coordinate all New Store opening packages for all divisions (All North American operated locations). * Assist AP and vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies. * Create and Receive in own purchase orders in ProcureIT. * Provide support to fellow Buyers, Senior Buyers, and Procurement Management team as needed. * Special Tasks/Projects (as directed).
Ideal Candidate
**Experience**: 2 years work experience in Procurement, Retail (but not a must) corporate environment. Procurement experience a must **Education**: College degree, but will take equivalent experience into consideration. **Optional**: Procurement Certifications **Skills**: ARIBA, Microsoft Office, negotiations, project management, Procurement (end to end process – RFP, PO, payment), strategic sourcing, vendor management, etc.
