This person is responsible for full life-cycle management of technology assets; including but not limited to: processing asset requests, approving asset purchases, receiving/storing/shipping assets, tracking assets, managing hardware asset inventory, working with Field Services Teams on Asset refresh, managing asset disposal. This position is intended to have a stronger focus on the hardware asset management discipline, but the individual should have exposure to software asset management practices. Secondarily this candidate will assist in Software asset management: software licenses and media library, conducting inventory and licensing audits, reconciling asset discrepancies, and processing asset disposals.

* This person will also assist in designing and documenting the asset management processes and related procedures. * Ensure compliance with Asset Management Policy and Governance * Work with Field Services and Data Center asset owners to ensure the accuracy of the asset inventory in all stock rooms and locations. * Monitor KPIs in Service Management platform and take appropriate corrective actions when issues occur. * Conduct hardware audits and work with responsible Teams to reconcile discrepancies * Work with involved parties on ensuring the appropriate disposal of all IT assets. * Create, manage and maintain process diagrams and process definition documents * Define, measure, analyze and report Asset Management key performance metrics * Create and implement plans to improve Asset Management and related procedures * Provide oversight to Asset Management managed services to ensure process is adhered to. * Collaborate with Finance, Purchasing, Service Desk, Technicians and Support Teams as needed to fix process gaps and ensure Continual Service improvement * Strong Excel skills

* Experience in performing full it asset management life-cycle activities and maintaining an asset management system. (4 years) * Experience in developing, managing, and maintaining the Asset Management process and associated procedures. (2 years) * Experience in gathering and analyzing requirements to improve processes and procedures. (2 years) * Experience in defining process metrics and KPIs. (2 years) * Measurement, analysis, and reporting experience. (2 years) * Experience with a major Service Management Platform. (BMC/Remedy, ServiceNow, IBM etc.) (3 years) * Professional verbal and written communication skills * Strong business background (working in a company of similar scale) * Capability to work independently and drive progress on individual Asset Mgmt project efforts * Capable of lifting assets up to 50 pounds * Experience with Office products (Excel, Word, Power point, etc.); proficient in Excel Preferred * Two years of ServiceNow experience is strongly preferred. A candidate without a ServiceNow background will be required to pick up knowledge of ServiceNow quickly on their own time. * ITIL Foundation Certification * Experience with Ariba procurement products * Experience with Dell procurement and warranty processes * Experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager * Experience with a Configuration Management System * Experience handling Customer needs under pressure * Prior experience in implementation and maturation of Asset Management platforms.
