Summary
We are looking for a Senior Web Developer to join our small but mighty product team in San Francisco. We are a team of a few engineers, product managers, designers, UX researchers and data analysts. We work closely together on different projects ranging from growth initiatives to product changes. Just visit to prezi.com. That’s something we have built. Log in. Responsibilities
* Make a significant contribution to the business by working with a team of engineers to provide expertise, ship high quality work, define a clear technological vision and mentor team members on how to build complex web components * Build out our modern web architecture to enable us to more quickly ship new features into production at scale * Help plan and implement personalized website features to better engage users * Develop and maintain our web framework to serve the needs of different areas of the business and user segments * Build multiple variants to A/B test against each other * Own web development projects from beginning to end * Work through a variety of technical challenges that will require creativity and close collaboration across internal functions * Release early, release often (we love continuous integration)
Ideal Candidate
**You have** * A passion for delivering value to users * 4+ years experience in developing web applications and web services (e.g. Python/Django). * Experience in frontend frameworks and JavaScript libraries (e.g. AngularJS, Backbone, Bootstrap, React.js) * A solid understanding of the full web technology stack (e.g. HTTP, cookies, asset loading, caching, REST, Thrift) * Extensive knowledge of web standards and modern browsers, responsive design * Passion for clean, maintainable code * Leadership skills and the ability to work with engineers and non-engineers of various skill levels * The ability to structure and build complex client side applications **You might also have** * Scrum or other agile experience * A/B testing experience, using frameworks, designing tests, understanding data * Social media integration experience * Interest in personalization * Passion for user-centric interface design
