Senior Web and Mobile Apps Developer

There was a time when all that was needed to promote a business was a listing in the local newspaper. However, times have changed. Today’s local businesses often find themselves in direct competition with national chains or subjected to the pricing whims of local on-demand companies.

To improve the client experience, we are looking at rebuilding the overall experience by utilizing the state of the art UX; achieve quick response time using distributed caching and asynchronous processing. We are looking for an individual to join the team in building this high performance application.

You are an experienced Software Engineer who enjoys working on challenging problems and strong experience in building high traffic and scalable client facing mobile and web applications integrated with several enterprise systems. You are confident, enthusiastic, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* You have 5 years of professional engineering work experience * Web Client application experience interfacing with enterprise systems * Experience with Node.js, Angular, Bootstrap, Git, Bower, Gulp * Experience with CSS, HTML5, Javascript * Experience with other web technologies Java, Spring, Hibernate, JQuery, REST, JSON, etc. * Experience with servers Apache and Tomcat * Experience with relational databases like Oracle and mySQL * Experience with distributed caching Hazelcast * Experience in Mobile Application Development on iOS / Android * Strong understanding of data structures, software design and design patterns * Responsive web design experience * Understanding of mobile application development environments and tools, device limitations and challenges, available communication infrastructures * Ability to work as senior team member within onsite/offshore model * BS in Computer Science or related technical discipline **The Plus Skills** * Experience with other JavaScript libraries & frameworks - Backbone, Underscore, YUI, Ember, ExtJS * Experience with content management systems * Experience with web analytics tools like Adobe marketing cloud formerly Omniture, Tealium etc. * Advanced degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline
