Summary
As an Inlet Sales Director you will work with the Inlet LLC team, a joint venture of Pitney Bowes and Broadridge Financial Solutions, to identify, structure, and close enterprise level software solutions with an assigned account list. The solution helps our clients build stronger digital relationships with their customers, while reducing servicing and support costs and driving cross-sell and upsell opportunities. As an Inlet Sales Director you'll leverage and grow your network of clients as quickly as possible. You have the chance to board this fast-growing startup at an early stage and maximize your revenue. While proximity near Inlet’s mid-town New York City offices is preferred, we will give equal consideration to any well-qualified remote candidate who lives near a major airport.
Responsibilities
* Prospect, qualify, develop and close deals involving Inlet's new capabilities with enterprise clients in key verticals such as telecom, financial services, utility, and insurance categories; * Identify and assemble decision-maker level resources from varied groups within the client for each sale, including procurement, bill payment and presentment, marketing, digital technology, IT, security and customer support; * Collaborate closely with product management to ensure Voice of Client gets into product build; * Identify, develop and maintain a detailed pipeline and status in Salesforce including qualifying new leads; * Collaborate with marketing to develop requirements and inform sales collateral; * Additional duties as required.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree required * 10+ years of sales experience as a minimum, 15 years preferred, with a proven and verifiable track record of over-quota performance selling business-to-business software or services deals in a Fortune 1000 enterprise environment. * Experience handling sales involving multiple stakeholders with varying levels of technical understanding. * Desire to work in a start-up environment on innovative projects; * Proficient in use of modern sales tools and techniques, including using Linkedin and other social media, as well as SalesForce. * Vested in the company’s success and collaborative with other sales team members. * Well developed consultative selling skills * Able to marshal necessary resources to win a deal * Must demonstrate a high-level of energy and a can-do attitude.
