Summary
Broadridge is growing! Come join us as a Product Manager, where you will run the development, implementation and support processes for several new products/capabilities. You will have decision-making authority over the development and direction of several financial services products. You will engage in cross-functional collaboration with our sales, services, operations, technology, legal, marketing, and product groups. You will foster significant client interaction and touch points with industry organizations in the mutual fund, insurance and retirement markets.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with product managers and business teams to develop the product strategy * Serve as the point of contact for the product for the services and sales teams for questions * Facilitate product feedback discussions with clients and prospects * Partner with the marketing organization to develop market positions and product promotions/campaigns * Conduct market research, competitive analyses and gather/document client business requirements * Drive resolution of issues * Develop and maintain release documentation and conduct training for the sales and services teams on new features * Facilitate the product release process including the management of UAT and ensure roll out readiness
Ideal Candidate
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Product Manager in the financial services industry, (Mutual Funds, Insurance or Retirement), taking a product through a development process * Practitioner level of understanding of product management framework and standard methodologies * Experience in productizing concepts into profitable product offerings * Demonstrable knowledge of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies * Consistent track record of delivering projects or gathering requirements * Broad knowledge of web based applications and database technologies * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Proven team leadership, project management, and group facilitation skills * Detail-oriented and possess excellent oral, written, and organizational skills * Has a strong can do attitude and can build relationships with partners both horizontally and vertically * Available to travel nationwide as appropriate with sales team (25% or less of time)
