Responsibilities
**Role Description** - The Pfizer Business Technology Digital Center of Excellence builds and operates the global platforms and capabilities that enable Pfizer to connect digitally with our customers. We build advanced cloud based technology solutions at a global scale that positively impact Pfizer business performance. - The Digital Center of Excellence delivers digital marketing solutions and services across all business units at Pfizer. You will be leading multiple projects via onsite project managers, solution architects, vendors and strategic partners. The solutions you deliver will be built on our industry leading Drupal platform as well as a range of emerging and established digital marketing technologies. You will also be responsible for owning one of more global services that we offer to our marketing and corporate colleagues to enable low cost innovative uses of digital technology. - This is a high volume delivery role where your passion and experience in delivering digital solutions will directly drive our solution roadmaps and help grow our digital marketing capabilities. Pfizer is accelerating the use of digital technology across our entire commercial and non-commercial business areas. We need people with excellent work habits and technical skillsets that can work independently in a fast paced environment and deliver on the promise of digital. **Responsibilities** - The successful candidate must have a deep understanding of web based and mobile application technologies and concepts and/or business processes as applied to customer marketing. This role will be responsible for leading digital service delivery for brands and corporate clients on a global scale in conjunction with digital product owners. - Client Facing Service Delivery role requiring business skills to meet with brands, create and manage the delivery of digital assets using a pool of vendors. - Solution architecture and technical analysis including understanding of technical challenges and recommend technologies and solutions to meet business objectives - Project management for each services project including budget, task tracking and communication to stakeholders - Manage contract resources and establish and operate support models for delivered solutions - Ensuring delivery to required time, cost & quality through a core group of preferred vendors - Accountable for ensuring compliance with Pfizer standards - Responsible for technical vendor relationship management - Engaging with technical architects as appropriate to ensure project solutions comply with platform standards. - Ensure technology solutions meet the needs of the Marketing business - Ensures project and service assurance in line with guidelines\methodology and provides status updates as required - Effectively communicates relevant IT-related information to key stakeholders - Escalation Management adhering to SLAs - Understand and improve existing technical frameworks and prototype or develop new ones as necessary. - Develop and present substantive technical recommendations to senior management. **This role may additionally be accountable for the creation and delivery of new digital services:** - Define global service offerings including documentation of service, pricing model, vendor support model and promotional material to “sell” the service internally. - Ensure alignment across the BT organization and service providers – effectively utilizing the BT organization - Create and Maintain key metrics for quality, efficiency and productivity for application support. Implement improvement projects to drive quality, productivity and efficiency - Understands, effectively uses and may coach project and support teams on technical tools, applications, and procedures - Effectively communicates technical aspects of the job to both technical and non-technical audiences - Contribute to roadmap development and innovation in conjunction with the Digital platform teams
Ideal Candidate
**Education and Experience:** - Training, Education a) Preferred Education: BS, MS or MBA, b) Preferred Discipline(s): Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management. - 7+ years of experience in managing requirements and understanding issues related to the Healthcare and Pharmaceutical industry (compliance, regulatory, clinical). - Including 5+ years experience in business analysis, requirements definition and/or project management. - Including 2+ years experience of relevant work experience in online/web marketing, including experience with web platforms, web content management systems, or similar technologies or other demonstrated expertise and knowledge in the online space (web, email, social and mobile, etc.), including trends and technologies preferred. - Strong document management and information organizational skills. - Strong ability to engage cross-functional teams to deliver on time and within budget. • Strong verbal and written communication skills, analytical skills, process flow development experience, problem solving, relationship building, negotiation, planning, organization, and customer focus. - Ability to coordinate large, complex activities. - Able to articulate and communicate complex ideas clearly. - Organizational ability to work in a fast paced environment with multiple projects and shifting priorities **Technical Skills:** - Project Management for mid-sized projects that run at very high speed. - Multi-Tasking to manage a portfolio of projects number into the dozens at a time. - Strong digital technical knowledge of web sites, authentication / single sign-on technologies, open source website development (e.g. Drupal) and integration technologies. - Business exposure to marketing and communications teams. - Business Analysis - Experience working with Agile processes within a solution delivery environment. - Consultancy - Business Process Improvement **Physical Requirements:** - Sitting, standing, walking, ability to travel, drive, unusual attendance requirements, weekend work or travel requirements
