Summary
Persado is looking for an Account Manager based out of New York, NY. This is a key role and is responsible for driving sales of Persado’s marketing persuasion technology through the development and nurturing of senior-level relationships, including Fortune 500 companies.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for achieving revenue goals and assigned strategic account objectives, including: * Move key accounts from the initial contact phase all the way through to post-sale and implementation. * Proactively lead account planning process that develop performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for the duration of the contract. * Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis to ensure the highest satisfaction. * Leads new expansion opportunities within the account from solution development, preparation of complex business cases to contract negotiations and launch * Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts. * Represent the entire range of company products and services to assigned customers. * Lead the customer account planning cycle and ensure assigned customers’ needs and expectations are met by the company. * Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations.
Ideal Candidate
* 5-10 years’ experience working in the account management function in **enterprise marketing software or in business consulting with a strong focus on digital** * An Engineering background is preferred * A deep understanding of one or more of the following verticals: financial services, retail, travel and leisure, and telco * Familiarity with email marketing services * Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills * Able to perform under pressure and deliver results in a demanding and fast-paced environment that requires fresh thinking and innovation * Experience with budget management and cost control * Strong quantitative, analytical and computer skills * Tech-savvy and comfortable in a field that combines elements of multiple disciplines (technology, marketing, etc.) **Who You Are:** * Excited about working in a lean start up environment * Must be enthusiastic, professional and highly pro-active * Thrives on finding intriguing solutions to ambiguous problems * Desire to dive in and learn in a fast-paced environment * Collaborative team player with the ability to shift gears quickly and efficiently * Dependable and reliable with clear thinking and attention to detail * Truly loves working in a fast-paced, creative environment, whose passion is evident in their work * Great sense of humor and outlook on life
