Sales Support Consultants participate on a team assigned to a specific sales opportunity. This role has direct client interaction and accompanies the sales lead throughout the sales cycle. They research prospective client processes and conduct and present cost-benefit analysis and ROI. They work directly in collaboration with client and sales lead. Sales Support Consultants execute opportunity plans and are involved with contract negotiations.
- Preparing presales requirements gathering
- Quantitative analysis
- Coordinating business solutions
- Preparing proposals
- Creating and delivering presentations
- Technical and functional product demonstrations
- Supporting discussions with prospective clients on how the product can meet their needs, and articulating product functionality
Previous Skills & Experience:
Minimal:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5-7 years’ related experience.
Preferred:
- Post-secondary education with emphasis in Business, Finance, Management or Marketing
- 5-7 years’ related experience with 3-5 years’ experience in technical selling/solution development/account management as well as finance and complex contract review skills.
- Proficiency with Excel
