Summary

Sales Support Consultants participate on a team assigned to a specific sales opportunity. This role has direct client interaction and accompanies the sales lead throughout the sales cycle. They research prospective client processes and conduct and present cost-benefit analysis and ROI. They work directly in collaboration with client and sales lead. Sales Support Consultants execute opportunity plans and are involved with contract negotiations.

Responsibilities
  • Preparing presales requirements gathering
  • Quantitative analysis
  • Coordinating business solutions
  • Preparing proposals
  • Creating and delivering presentations
  • Technical and functional product demonstrations
  • Supporting discussions with prospective clients on how the product can meet their needs, and articulating product functionality
Ideal Candidate

Previous Skills & Experience:

Minimal:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5-7 years’ related experience.

Preferred:

  • Post-secondary education with emphasis in Business, Finance, Management or Marketing
  • 5-7 years’ related experience with 3-5 years’ experience in technical selling/solution development/account management as well as finance and complex contract review skills.
  • Proficiency with Excel
