Financial Analyst

Partners Group is a global private markets investment manager with over EUR 42 billion in investment programs under management in private equity, private debt, private real estate and private infrastructure. The firm manages a broad range of investment programs and customized portfolios for an international clientele of institutional investors such as pension funds, insurance companies and sovereign wealth funds who are seeking direct exposure to individual private markets assets.

In this position you will be part of a dynamic and growing global real estate asset management team within a large, established investment platform. Your tasks will include working closely with team members and local operating partners in order to drive real estate investment performance. - Develop and maintain financial projection models for equity and debt investments in Excel and Argus * Assist in writing quarterly reports to investors by providing asset specific narratives for each investment, and prepare internal quarterly valuation reports * Work with investment partners to proactively monitor investment performance in relation to business plan targets by reviewing partner reporting, and evaluating market conditions * Review and analyze the investments’ annual business plan, including operating budget, planned capital expenses, and exit strategy * Analyze hold/sell strategies, significant capital expenditures, major leases, refinancings, and other major asset management decisions and prepare ad hoc recommendations to the investment committee accordingly * Critically vet underwriting assumptions and the proposed business plan from an asset management perspective during due diligence * Support fundraising efforts by preparing presentations to prospective clients and participating in due diligence sessions * Special projects as required

* Bachelor’s degree in real estate, business, economics, finance, accounting or similar subject required * 1-3 years of real estate industry experience preferably at a top-tier investment bank, private equity firm, real estate operator, accounting or advisory firm * Excellent analytical skills including expertise in using Excel and ARGUS to build cash flow pro forma models and distribution waterfalls * Strong written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in Word and PowerPoint * Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving ability, with strong attention to detail * Ability to handle large volume of work; good organizational skills and ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines * Moderate domestic travel is required with occasional international trips
