Responsibilities

The Analyst/Associate is responsible for analyzing investment opportunities, ongoing development projects and financing structures to execute fund strategy and support senior level decision-making. The ideal candidate is a self-starter that excels in an entrepreneurial environment.

  • Analyze potential real estate acquisitions, dispositions, refinancings and ownership structures for all asset classes to support senior level decision-making.
  • Prepare cash flow models, incorporating analyses such as distribution waterfalls, sensitivity matrices, IRR, and NPV.
  • Continuously refine revenue, cost and exit assumptions for ongoing and prospective developments.
  • Prepare investment committee memos, internal briefs and related support material.
  • Conduct and present analysis regarding potential acquisition opportunities, debt financing terms, and development activities to the senior management team.
  • Perform due diligence such as analysis of financials, market positions, product offerings, and industry trends.
  • Prepare presentations detailing research results for review by senior management team.
  • Support annual and long range strategic planning process at the property and fund levels.
  • As part of the due diligence process review documents and zoning materials; abstract key documents as necessary.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required with a preference for a degree in finance, real estate, business, economics or mathematics.
  • 3-5 years of financial/market analysis experience in real estate development, private equity or investment banking.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
  • Experience working with Argus preferred, but not required.
  • Must be able to build cash flow models for all asset types and financing scenarios.
  • Ability to work independently while managing and prioritizing multiple deadlines.
