Summary
We are looking for an ISE Program Manager I to work in concert with Sales Managers, Program Managers (PMO), Engineering and Field Engineers, defines, delivers and supports Interactive Software Engineering products and services for airline programs and works with their third party providers to ensure best services.
Responsibilities
* Work in collaboration with Airline representative to define requirements documents (Maps, Games, Interactive). **Oversight of Deliverables** * Work with interactive vendors to provide delivery schedule meeting airline satisfaction. * Track software deliverables, coordinate with internal departments regarding the hardware required for testing, testing support, schedules and new products deliverables. * Test interactive software deliverables, track issues within bug tracking system and provide schedules addressing resolutions. **General Team Operations** * Responsible for the overall program management, including the project management of the interactive software, games and maps products. * Work in collaboration with numerous departments including PMO, Marketing, ALST, Software Engineering. * Manage new small interactive development program, including eXcite, responsible for overall program delivery. * Manage change requests to facilitate functionality changes and bug fixes. Work closely with both the Airline System Test group for ATPs and the Software Applications group for applications management. * Work with all appropriate department personnel and third parties for quoting and pricing, and interactive product development and delivery. * Work collaboratively with Customer Support personnel, ensuring customer satisfaction with overall in-flight entertainment experience.
Ideal Candidate
* Knowledge of or experience with multimedia/Web browser/E-commerce applications. * Proficient in the use of MS office suite of software applications i.e. Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. * Knowledge of IFE industry preferred. * Technical knowledge of Panasonic’s K series or X series systems is preferred. * Excellent interpersonal skills required – both written and verbal – within the organization. * Ability to resolve project management issues, to maintain work flow, quality, and on-time delivery. * Uses professional concepts; applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues. * Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. * Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. **Education/Experience Requirements** * Technical college degree (computer science/electronic engineering/programming) or equivalent work experience with applications. * Demonstrated project management experience. * Customer relations management experience. **Other Requirements** * Ability to perform repetitive motion activities, i.e. keyboard work, as well as walking, standing, sitting. * Ability to travel up to 20% of the time to both international and domestic locations.
