- Build solutions for customers based on their trading requirements or needs
- Work with customers or subject-matter experts to help define technical requirements for projects
- Distill complex technical concepts to a non-technical user base
- Write documentation and API guides to educate a technical user base
- Must be able to own and manage several projects at once from a technical perspective
- Work with exchanges to resolve trading issues
- Must be comfortable wearing multiple hats
- Solve complex problems and troubleshoot issues
- Have a direct impact on building new revenue streams for the company
- Obtain real-world experience of how the trading industry works and the technical solutions that power its success
- BS in Computer Science
- Strong in Java SE development (4+ years)
- Experience with building front-end desktop applications
- Experience with Java Swing or JavaFX (desirable)
- Understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work well with others
