Summary
The Region President will oversee and manage all banking activities, including deposit and lending functions in a designated geographic area. The Region President is responsible for all facets of management and performance of retail branch offices, commercial lending and other departments in the region. Develop objectives, initiatives, practices and procedures to ensure financial goals and objectives are met. Must have strong management skills that lead to the creation and continuity of a strong and stable team. This individual is expected to have strong community ties and be directly involved with center of influences within the geographic area of their market. Active participation in local community and service organizations as a board member, committee chairman or director
Responsibilities
* Achieve net income and other financial performance goals including maximized returns on allocated capital. * Lead sales management process within region in order to meet and exceed sales goals and budgeted growth targets. Develop and execute a sales management process which integrates the business development strategies for all lines of business including commercial, cash management, retail, wealth management, brokerage, insurance, and mortgage. * Optimize market performance by developing strategies for market expansion, if appropriate and implementing customer retention strategies. * Coordinate all Old National lines of business within region. * Implement all new products, sales campaigns, projects or other tasks as assigned. * Communicate all company policies, procedures, mission, values, etc. to all Old National associates within the region. Lead and implement organizational change. * Develop and prepare annual budget for the region and review and analyze all key management reports and prepare variance reports as required. * Respond to customer inquiries in keeping with company policies, procedures and standards and ensure customer satisfaction. * Meet and exceed corporate standards for loan quality and ensure compliance with loan policies and procedures. * Ensure compliance with all federal and state laws, banking regulations and company operating policies and procedures. * Manage staffing to benchmarks. * Set an example of high ethical behavior, integrity and professional conduct to all associates, customers and communities. * Represent Old National within the region and ensure staff participation in community events and organizations.
Ideal Candidate
* Requires a bachelor’s’ degree or equivalent work experience. * A minimum of 10 years in banking or related experience in a financial service or service industry and 10 years experience in management. * Must have a proven track record of successful sales performance. * Must have commercial loan experience gained through working as a commercial loan officer or have a proven track record of successful relationship management of multiple commercial customer relationships. * Sales management experience required. Some knowledge or retail banking and ancillary departments such as cash management, mortgage, wealth management, and brokerage preferred. * This individual is currently and actively involved in community events and service organizations. They should be known by community and government leaders. It is preferred the Region President reside within the local community of their home branch. * Very high level of written and verbal communication skills.
