Summary
Manage high volume, high frequency Direct Marketing program for Norwegian. Create and implement direct mail and email programs for past guests and prospects to deliver qualified leads to corporate sales units and visits to ncl.com.
Responsibilities
* Initiate and execute direct marketing initiatives targeting past guests and prospects in order to deliver improved response rates, click through rates, leads, bookings and improve past guest repeat rates, under general guidance from Director, Media & Acquisition Marketing * Work closely with Marketing Analytics to determine optimal list strategy and build new customer segments to make communications more efficient and to improve relationship with customers. * Make recommendations on testing, optimizing and innovating to manager and implement changes accordingly. * Design direct mail and email campaigns with overall goal of driving demand and including but not limited to: * Communicate Norwegian's value proposition and brand identity * Produce creative briefs and manage creative process * Work with Revenue Management unit and Marketing partners to create compelling offers, determine merchandising, pricing and verify terms and conditions of programs. * Manage budget per project within established guidelines * Manage metrics and reporting incorporating all key learning into future plans. Work with Marketing Analytics team on data and analytics needs to guide future decision and optimizations. * Produce annual mail plan and production calendar across channels and manage throughout the year. * Perform other job related functions as assigned.
Ideal Candidate
**Education:** Bachelor's Degree in marketing or related field of study; or any equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferably with a large corporation. MBA preferred. **Experience:** 8+ years work experience in marketing management including developing marketing strategies, managing acquisition direct mail and email programs. Experience working with an advertising agency and production vendors preferred. Budget management experience strongly preferred. **Knowledge and Skills:** Expert knowledge of advertising and marketing principles. Excellent problem-solving, budgeting, project management and analytical skills. Strong command of e-communication technologies and developing traditional and online marketing tools. Intermediate level working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Ability to easily adapt to and manage change and to thrive in a busy environment with deadlines. Interpersonal skills to work successfully in a team-based environment and cross-departmental role. Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
