Summary
NinthDecimal is looking for a Inventory Analyst to join the team in San Francisco, CA. This role will support the Advertising Sales organization by managing inventory and pricing controls across ND’s diverse ad platforms.
Responsibilities
* Drive quantitative analysis to inform ongoing inventory and pricing decisions * Manage daily inventory and pricing requests from Sales Organization * Collaborate with cross functional groups including Ad Ops, Product, Ad Product Strategy, Sales and Finance to identify pricing and revenue opportunities * Employ in-depth understanding of ad functionality, availability/supply and demand, and delivery mechanism to influence market rate card and pricing of custom ad packages * Integrate pricing models and inventory segmentation * Evaluate profitability and conduct cost/benefit analysis of advertising deals and business partnerships * Analyze sales behavior to identify trends and optimize pricing * Develop quantitative analysis, ad hoc reports, models, to support decision making * Forecast inventory availability, sell-through, employing statistical analysis and modeling when needed * Maintain reporting, forecasting models, dashboards, etc related to all ad sales revenue channels
Ideal Candidate
* Education: BA/BS in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, or Social Sciences with quant component * At least 2 years professional experience in an analytics role with experience in inventory management a plus * Experience with online advertising platforms (Doubleclick (DFP), Atlas, etc) * Experience with digital advertising and online publishers with multiple sales channels a plus * Knowledge of Salesforce, Operative Order Management, SAS or other business analytics software preferred * Power user of excel (shortcuts,VBA), Microsoft Office suite * Experience working with relational databases and SQL query languages * Excellent time management and attention to detail * Comfortable in fast-paced and changing environment * Excellent written and communication skills
