Summary
We are seeking a very competitive individual who can actively develop large customer accounts by gaining a thorough understanding of their business and becoming a trusted “consultant” to them. Partnership and utilization of other Nest Pro lines of business and other Nest channel personnel are also a must for success. The Installer Developer must have influential communication skills, be willing to wear multiple hats and must be as comfortable in the "boiler room as in the boardroom". If you are independent, extremely hard-working, enjoy building businesses from the ground up, desire a “start-up” mentality and are able to have fun at the same time, then this team may be right for you.
Responsibilities
* Aggressively grow sales of Nest products in the Professional channel by partnering with select regional accounts * Communicate the Nest value proposition and promote the Nest product line in conjunction with other products from Works with Nest partners. * Create and manage partner training, promotional, and advertising campaigns at the regional level. * Maintain an intense focus on a small number of regional accounts including some prospecting and relationship building. * Travel to customer locations within the Northeastern US. * Serve as the interface between key customers and Nest in all areas of business. * Perform Nest selling presentations and trainings at all levels of an organization. * Provide feedback on customer asks and requests. Measure results and adjust promotions accordingly.
Ideal Candidate
* Ability to travel freely up to 75% of the time. Live within the assigned territory. * Strong business acumen with experience in B to B sales. * Documented sales success. * Desire for selling technology to "prove it to me" audiences. * Passion for technology and the opportunity the Nest products bring to the customer. * Ability to grasp complex concepts and break them down into easily understood information. * Superior organizational and communication skills. * Strong presentation and negotiation skills. * Ability to sell across all levels of a customer organization. * Familiarity with Keynote and webinar presentations. * Highly motivated, competitive, and independent. Able to work in a virtual environment while making use of technology to remain constantly in touch. * Ability to collaborate with team members and customers remotely. * Ability to adjust to changing market conditions and see the big picture as it unfolds.
