Marketing Events Coordinator

Certify offers online travel and expense management solution for companies of all sizes. Organizations worldwide can book travel as well as create and submit expense reports quickly, easily and efficiently with minimum training due to our unique intuitive data entry options and easy-to-use interface. Certify features no software to buy or maintain, no servers to manage, and requires only an internet connection.

As the event coordinator at Certify, you will be joining a growing team of 16 marketing professionals. You will be responsible for all aspects of event marketing and promotions, including the planning and coordination of 10+ conferences and trade shows per year as well as assisting in the coordination for our four user conferences. Due to the nature of this role, you will be required to travel to each event.

* Strategizing with the Director of Marketing on new ideas for show floor engagements * Working directly with the Director of Marketing on new booth concepts and designs * Managing sales staff during on-site events * Managing shipping to and from events * Coordinating all aspects of the event including shipping vendors, AV, floor services, and staff registration * Keeping an up-to-date inventory of all marketing promotional supplies * Managing promotional and event supplies, including inventory, organization, and ordering * Managing social media channels with much of the promotion around events

* 2-3 years of relevant event marketing or coordinator experience, trade show or conference experience preferred * Experience in B2B marketing preferred * Strong attention to detail * Ability to multi-task * Effective communication skills with an outgoing personality preferred * Ability to be authoritative to onsite event staff * Must be willing to travel 25% of the time * Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds * Must have a valid driver’s license
