Summary
The Website Sales Specialist is responsible for demonstrating and selling Content Management System (CMS) website solutions, which include School Site (designed for schools) and Faithwebsites (designed for non-profit and faith-based organizations). This position builds relationships and provides consultative sales.
Responsibilities
* Contact prospects via email and phone. * Listen to prospective customers’ website needs. * Conduct on-line CMS demonstrations and provide web design options for prospects. * Close sales and acquire new customers. * Communicate on an ongoing basis, nurture leads, and follow up with current and older leads. * Work closely with other team members from Support, Sales and Project Teams.
Ideal Candidate
**Education:** * Associates degree preferred. (May substitute equivalent experience.) **Experience:** * Strong sales experience. * Previous experience working directly with customers. * Strong experience with internet applications (personal and professional). * Previous experience in maintaining or building a website is ideal, but not required. * Inbound marketing experience is preferred, but not required. * Experience with website content management systems (CMS) is beneficial. **Competencies – Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:** * Service-minded with a love of helping people, and providing new solutions for their online presence. * Excellent presentation skills. * Strong communication skills (both verbal and written, as well as listening). * Ability to develop and maintain customer relationships. * Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, but also function well as a member of a team. * Friendly and passionate about providing an incredible customer experience * Possess the drive and ability to self-train, research and stay current with relevant website trends and technologies.
