Summary
The Senior Compensation Analyst is responsible for the management of enterprise-wide compensation and incentive programs. This person will provide coaching, guidance, and training to leaders with regards to compensation. Leadership and oversight of cross-functional project teams across Human Resources, Talent Acquisition and HRIS.
Responsibilities
* Manage and administer all aspects of the total compensation program across the enterprise. * Create, implement and maintain an overall organizational compensation strategy * Develop and implement compensation activities, plans, and procedures to ensure standardization, use of best practices, and gained efficiencies. Deliver compensation programs that are cost effective and competitive in the market which will attract and retain employees for the long term. * Develop and conduct Compensation Management Training with leaders. * Understand the trends affecting compensation and make recommendations based on industry-relevant information. * Understand national laws regarding compensation to evaluate current policies, procedures, organizational impact and propose and implement changes with adherence to required compliance and company goals. * Complete monthly reports utilizing HRIS and reporting software * Manage and maintain potential vendor relationships * Interact regularly and collaborate with executives, managers, and HR to provide recommendations and solutions to the company's compensation programs and processes. * Seek to automate compensation processes and transactions.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor's degree with a focus in business management, human resources, or related field. * Five years experience in compensation design and administration. * Base and/or incentive compensation design and administration experience. * Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, listening, and consultative skills. Ability to explain technical results to non-technical audiences and present findings for actionable decision-making. * High attention to detail and strong customer focus. * Experience using Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Word. Must be able to calculate, analyze, and interpret mathematical and statistical information such as percent differences, ratios, median, mean, weighted average, regression, etc. * Experience with HRIS, ERP, market pricing, and/or salary planning systems. * Ability to organize, prioritize and lead large-scale projects. * Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation preferred, but not required.
