Summary
Framebridge, the simple way to custom frame everything you love, is looking for a talented, creative graphic designer with a strong portfolio and a passion for lifestyle design to develop compelling marketing designs that attract new customers and define our evolving brand. The ideal candidate has a bright and clean aesthetic, a sharp interest in interior design, and a strong overall sense of beauty. Daily projects would include creation of digital ads (social, display, etc,), marketing emails, marketing collateral (case studies, presentations) and printed materials for offline activities (events, direct mail, press, etc.). The Marketing Designer will be a member of the marketing team and will closely collaborate across Marketing, Design and Content teams to define evolving standards for our brand.
Responsibilities
* Create beautiful digital, print and display marketing collateral consistent with the Framebridge brand. Demonstrate a comfortable, nuanced balance between the core design elements (logo & wordmark, visual photography, text & typeface, etc.) * Work within a defined brand system while exploring new and innovative ways to use design to tell the Framebridge story across multiple formats (social, web, mobile, offline, print, events, etc.) * Select images for marketing collateral. Resize, photoshop and retouch images to properly fit with marketing channel and audience. * Collaborate with lead designer, creative director and marketing teammates, among others, to develop creative assets/deliverables on schedule. Harness and implement feedback from various sources to deliver high-performing creative. * Work with Creative Director and in-house Photographer to request photography needs and assist in execution of photoshoots. * Work with marketing teammates to analyze performance of creative and experiment with new designs and layouts that drive conversion. Understand how various marketing channels function and drive creative approaches that best meet business objectives. * Conceptualize and develop internal communications materials for team-wide distribution (from process docs & Powerpoint templates) * Manage ordering and vendor relationships for key marketing & design collateral. * Anything else that can pop up at a moment’s notice and require immediate focus and execution.
Ideal Candidate
* Curiosity. You have your own design philosophy and push yourself to evolve in both thinking and practice. * Passion and focus. You view an assignment to create 50 effective Facebook ads as a challenge to be tackled and not an unwanted burden. * Design whiz with a killer portfolio to prove it. You’ve had substantial design experience in a structured environment, either at a product company or agency. * 3-5 years of experience in a design-related field (experience in ecommerce is a big plus) * Must have undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in related field * Highly-productive with strong organizational skills; great attention to detail * A team player with strong interpersonal skills, high energy and positive attitude * Able to adapt and be flexible in a fast paced environment * Problem-solver and consensus-builder able to take in diverse feedback and produce coherent designs that meet overarching project goals * Analytical in your approach to understanding how your designs drive marketing performance. Knowledge of conversion funnel metrics and Excel are major pluses. * Proficient in all Adobe Creative Suite software. You will need outstanding photo-touching and adjustment skills in Photoshop with a seamless ability to add in frames, swap out art within existing frames, master shadows and other related skills. * HTML/CSS experience a plus
