Summary
As a Leasing Consultant, you will be working in our Asset Manager Department here at Mobilitie. This is a unique department and is not only involved in the telecommunications or wireless side. Instead, this team manages the private real estate portfolio of the owner. This portfolio consists of retails, offices, apartments, and single family homes. You will be involved in management, construction, capital expenditures, design, leasing and accounting. Each day is different which makes it more exciting and rewarding! You will be working with everyone from the architect to the janitorial teams and are in charge of running many different projects at once
Responsibilities
* Meeting with prospective tenants to determine their office/retail needs and eligibility * Completing the applicant screening process * Preparing leases and related documentation * Maintaining current knowledge of marketing and leasing techniques, current rental rates and promotions of competitive properties, and company policies and applicable laws * Responsible for leasing new and existing vacant space in assigned properties. Must be able to travel to the other property locations as necessity dictates. Prepare proposals, and letters of intents (LOI) and coordinate and negotiate lease documents. * Identified qualified prospects to lease and occupy available space. * Develops and executes a strategic leasing plan for each property. * Develops relationships with national, regional, brokers and other business and individuals in each market. * Prepare leasing status reports. * Assist property management in accounts receivable and collection matters for office leases. * Research competitive market information and maintain understanding of market dynamics. * Develop marketing materials and conduct mass marketing campaigns. Oversee a shopping center marketing program. * Prepare financial analysis of lease proposals. * Develop market knowledge relative to demographic characteristics achieving the assigned property’s leasing strategy. * Examination of suitability of retail and proper location within the property for the maximization of rental income.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor Degree from an accredited university required * Real Estate License required * A minimum of three to five (3-5) years’ experience in real estate industry while holding a license * Leasing experience for office and retail spaces * The ideal candidate will possess strong oral and written communication skills with the instinctive ability to be adaptable to an ever-changing environment.
