* Responsible for defining product strategy, managing the development roadmap, providing requirements, guiding development, leading market launch, monitoring performance, and sunsetting products.
* Drive product related decisions by providing customer insights, competitive analysis, and market intelligence.
* Understand and represent the voice of the customer throughout the product lifecycle.
* Develop and present business cases for new products and product enhancements.
* Coordinate with key stakeholders to write user stories, prioritize features, lead the development process, and validate functionality.
* Oversee product Alpha and Beta testing, including test plans, customer surveys, and corrective actions.
* Identify, report on, and assume accountability for the attainment of key performance indicators, including profitability and penetration metrics.
* Ensure internal product training materials are clear, effective, current, and readily available. As appropriate, facilitate training activities through a variety of mediums (print, online, in-person, and video conference).
* Communicate the value proposition of the products to the Sales Operations and business teams.
* Assist Sales Operations with customer proposals and RFP responses as the product subject matter expert.
* Research, assess, prioritize, and recommend product initiatives in a succinct and insightful format suitable for executives and cross-functional teams.
* Assist in the creation of financial forecast models.
* Partner with Marketing to create and maintain product literature, marketing materials, and sales collateral.
* Ensure the product catalog is accurate, current, and complete.
* Articulate technical concepts in ways that customers and team members can understand and reproduce.
* Work with Legal regarding contract language, terms & conditions, and service order terms.
* Continually evaluate the product development process to identify opportunities for improvement.
* Remain current on changes in technology and share information with team members.
* Maintain good rapport and relationships throughout the organization. Inspirational and positive leader.
* Communicate effectively and professionally in all forms of communication with internal and external customers.
* Maintain regular attendance to be available to provide direction and communication to team members.
