The Sales Operations Specialist provides operational support for MasterControl sales representatives and the sales management team. The role focuses on managing sales processes, coordinating sales references and customer success initatives, tracking sales in a web-based customer relationship management (CRM) system, supporting sales members through communication and trainings, and effectively administrating projects and project-oriented tasks. The role will work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment and will be a member of MasterControl's world-class Sales Operations group.
* Manage the sales web-portal and coordinate resource requests. (RFPs, customer references, and referrals) * Assist in managing and developing sales references, customer advocates, and customer success initiatives. * Develop, maintain and distribute sales analytics, surveys, industry research, customer profiles and customer information, as well as other sales analytics as needed. * Provide sales support, including managing a customer advocacy network, quote creation, order processing, tickets, and other sales support related tasks. * Manage projects focused on achieving department and company goals. * Support sales communication and training, sales summit events, sales training webinars, newletters, curriculum and sales literature. * Assist with events, travel, and other administrative duties as needed. * Other tasks and projects as assigned.
Ideal Candidate
**Preferred Skills** * College Degree or equivalent experience. * Work experience preferred to include a minimum of 2 years in sales support or marketing position with sales tool development a plus. * Experience using MS Office tools, Adobe Acrobat, computer systems, and communication tools. (Database experience preferred) * Experience with analytics and reporting. * Experieince with Salesforce. (preferred) * Experience with corporate event planning. * Strong communication skills, especially in writing, editing and responding to communications from customers. * Ability to manage multiple projects, coordinate project details among multiple departments, and meet rigid deadlines. **Physical Demands and Working Conditions** * Ability to work non-standard hours on occasion, when necessary. * Bending, stooping and lifting are integral aspects of this position. * Ability to operate a computer and work at a desk for extended periods of time.
