Summary
The TP-Link Brand Advocate's primary focus will be to educate retail personnel on the client's products and assist in cultivating positive relationships to increase brand loyalty and, ultimately, increase sales. In addition, you would be required to execute visits via informal retailer trainings and light merchandising support at selected retailer locations including Office Max, Office Depot, Fry's, and MicroCenter. Responsibilities
* Visit selected locations according to the specific schedule provided in the Flex Data Base (all visits 1 hour) * Office Max, Office Depot and Fry's will receive 2 visits per month. MicroCenter will receive 4 visits per mont * Conduct informal (on the sales floor) trainings with sales associates to increase knowledge of TP-Link products and the overall wireless router category * Create positive relationships with store personnel in order to gain trust and promote TP-Link product awareness and sales * Examine TP-Link products and insure their neat and orderly appearance in store * Work cooperatively with store personnel to rectify display issues * Take photos of product and display issues and include with reporting * Complete call reports the same day as each visit * Communicate openly with MarketStar Regional Manager about successes, challenges, and obstacles
Ideal Candidate
* Time management: ability to complete visits according to the schedule, including reporting each visit the day the visit happened * Familiar with current networking technologies: interest in consumer electronic products, and willingness to learn * Engaging and persuasive presentation skills with the ability to adapt to different audiences * Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; able to easily engage and build relationships with others * Proven ability to learn technology and effectively explain technology concepts to others * Demonstrated enthusiasm for selling products and achieving established goals * Self-driven with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision * Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule to include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays * Reliable transportation * Minimum high school diploma or GED; bachelor's degree preferred **Availability:** * Monday through Friday prior to 5pm * In order to gain maximum effectiveness, visits must occur when the store has the most personnel available and the lowest customer traffic * Occasionally, due to specific store circumstances, some visits may be conducted in the evenings or on weekends, but this is the exception rather than the rule, and must be discussed with and approved by MarketStar management PRIOR to execution * On occasion Ride Alongs with MarketStar and TP-Link management will occur. Willingness to participate in these work withs, and ability to cooperatively schedule Ride Alongs is required. * Project begins 4/25 and ends 7/31. Depending on success, this may be extended beyond 7/31.
