Summary
The Tradeshow and Events Manager leads and drives tradeshow planning and execution, a critical part of lead and customer acquisition and retention efforts. The Tradeshow and Events Manager drives the annual tradeshow planning process by working with Marketing Segment Managers and the Sales Team to determine which shows and events Lytx will participate in, the rationale and objectives for participating and the criteria by which success will be measured. This includes planning and managing logistics for industry trade shows, customer advisory boards, annual customer events, and annual internal training. This role requires a tactical expert who will produce events on schedule, within budget and with the goal of maximizing Lytx participation for the greatest return on investment.
Responsibilities
**Key Duties & Responsibilities:** * Supporting marketing strategies and program objectives by enabling and facilitating participation in key tradeshows and events that reach Lytx target customers and industry influencers. * Managing end-to-end all trade shows and events, strategy, logistics and execution. * Generating leads to help drive growth and capture share in Lytx target segments. * Promoting the Lytx brand and generating awareness of Lytx products, solutions and services. **Areas of Focus:** Working with the extended Lytx marketing team as well as sales and support resources to select, plan and facilitate tradeshows and events that increase awareness, generate leads and inspire a positive response among Lytx targeted prospects, clients and industry influencers. * Manages execution of annual marketing strategies and objectives at key tradeshows and events that reach Lytx target customers and industry influencers. * Manages the Lytx events calendar and develops written project plans and schedules for each event. * Collaborates with gobal marketers and regions to identify trade shows, associated speaking opportunities, parties or special events and develops communication objectives and messaging for each event. * Translates show strategies into clear direction for vendors and service providers, sets timelines for meeting design, production and shipping schedules, directs on-site booth set-ups and tear-downs, schedules booth staffing and coordinates staff travel arrangements. * Directs the design, construction, repair, storage, and shipping of all booths, signage and exhibit materials. * Negotiates venue, food and beverage and accommodations for company-hosted client events. * Ensures all signage, materials, messaging and other show deliverables follow Lytx brand and quality standards and guidelines. * Facilitates all internal communications and training to ensure show and event participants are properly prepared and arrangements are made for travel, hotels and other relevant needs for the smooth execution of the show or event. * Selects and manages agencies/vendors needed to support shows and events. Oversees the project through delivery and payment of services rendered. * Manages the collection and retrieval of all leads acquired at events. * Coordinates with CRM Marketing Ops Manager to ensure lead collection systems are operational and confirms the timely collection, analysis and dissemination of tradeshow/event leads. * Collaborates with CRM Marketing Ops Manager to evaluate ROI on new leads and success of lead-generation activities.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s Degree required * 5-7 years of business-to-business tradeshow/events experience. * Documented history of successful project management. * Best practices for tradeshows and events. * Excellent oral and written communication skills across multiple functions. * Team player with positive and collaborative attitude. * Strong organizational and problem solving skills with high attention to detail. * Proven track record for execution of marketing strategies and objectives at key tradeshows targeting customers and industry influencers. * Experience and expertise managing complex trade show and events planning calendars and project planning and tracking. * Strong experience interacting with multiple levels of an organization, specifically with gobal marketers and regions to identify trade shows, associated speaking opportunities, parties or special events and develops communication objectives and messaging for each event. * Proven ability to translate show strategies into clear direction for vendors and service providers, set timelines for meeting design, production and shipping schedules, direct on-site booth set-ups and tear-downs, schedule booth staffing and coordinate staff travel arrangements. * Experience directing the design, construction, repair, storage, and shipping of all booths, signage and exhibit materials. * Expertise in negotiating venue, food and beverage and accommodations for company-hosted client events. * Strong experience managing development and execution, based upon company quality standards and guidelines. * Strong demonstrated communication skill, including experience facilitating all internal communications and training to ensure show and event participants are properly prepared and arrangements are made for travel, hotels and other relevant needs for the smooth execution of the show or event. * Experience managing agencies/vendors needed to support shows and events, as well as overseeing projects through delivery and payment of services rendered. * Significant experience with latest technologies for the collection and retrieval of all leads acquired at events, including lead collection systems are operations and analysis of tradeshow/event leads. * Experience driving increased ROI via measurement and constant process/strategy-improvements based upon learnings.
