Summary
This leadership role is accountable for managing a team of project managers and coordinators responsible for client implementations of our solutions and services using a standard methodologies approach for implementations and project management. As the Sr. Manager of our Client Project Management Office you will ensure that methodologies, processes, tools and reports are developed and implemented for all phases of the project life cycle. Success in this position is measured via happy clients, on-time delivery of planned features as promised, and minimized risk to our clients and our company, and to profitable project execution.
Responsibilities
* Ensure client delight through successful and timely delivery of Lytx products and services for our client's initial implementation or significant fleet expansion projects. * Lead the PMO team in operating within project management methodologies to identify options for issue and employ risk management practices that reduce impact to resources ($$$ and people). * Establish a defined standardized methodology for the team so they can achieve on-time, on-budget, and on-scope delivery of solutions to our clients. * Mitigate overall risk to Lytx client’s and to Lytx through application of project management process, tools, and negotiation skills. * Maximize revenue for Lytx through efficient process management, focused issue management, and commitment to pay-for-service while identifying process improvement opportunities. * Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams such as Client Success to ensure high quality project execution. * Serve as escalation point and develop team in building and maintaining the client relationship. * Develop and implements project status reports for client and Lytx management. * Recommends additional fees for non-standard items or services. * Other duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate
**How you will be successful:** * You have extensive experience as a client facing PM and PMO Leader for client software or hardware implementations. * You enjoy being a key contributor to process improvements. * You can negotiate through conflicts that may arise between client and within Lytx. * You can successfully coordinate multiple, concurrent projects in a dynamic, technology-intensive environment. * You are able to apply theoretical project management techniques and tools to the practical aspects of project management. * You have strong communications skills **Other skills and exeprience we care about:** * BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience. * Minimum of 8 years direct work experience in project management capacity, building and executing from repeatable methodologies and tools. * Minimum of 5 years leading a PMO at a Director or Sr. Manager level. * Project management certification (i.e., PMP, PMI) or demonstrated progress toward certification a plus. * Proven experience in launching a client-facing PMO desired. * Minimum 5 years’ experience in external client-facing implementations.
